Regular guys vote Obama

I am just a regular guy, well, maybe better educated than most and better informed about the current energy crisis than most.  I admit to having sexist and racist tendencies, which are obvious in this blog straight out of my id.  I never thought I would want to vote for Barack Obama; he was my last choice because I was a racist Republican.  But, as it turns out, Barack Obama is our last hope.  Unless you register, show up, and vote for Barack Obama and his Democratic Party compatriots on Tuesday, November 4, John McCain will waste trillions (yes, it will take TRILLIONS) of taxpayer dollars (YOUR DOLLARS) subsidizing the drilling of dry holes by oil companies in a desperate domestic oil exploration program at ANWR, in the Bakken Formation in North Dakota, offshore, and elsewhere.  Unless you vote for Barack Obama, McCain will pockmark our beautiful country with 45 nuclear reactors by 2030 and bury all the resulting plutonium and other nuclear waste at Yucca Mountain in Nevada.  (Fellow Americans from Nevada, you clearly must vote for Obama.  Gamblers and other regular guys, note that Yucca Mountain is less than 100 miles from Las Vegas.  You also must vote for Obama.)  Unless you vote for Barack Obama, McCain will expand mountaintop removal mining (blowing up mountaintops for coal) in the Appalachians to be followed by mountaintop removal in the Rockies, then expand our use of coal which will only worsen our greenhouse gas emissions and situation on climate change.  Think about this year’s floods in the Midwest and its life-giving farms for the next 1,000 years.

I like beer and drinking and cigars and women and sports.  I am not much of a gambler, but I love Las Vegas.  I don’t like radioactive water much, though.  I like a good steak; I love to eat.  I camp and ski and occassionally fish.  I want to be able to go home to my wife and girlfriends (just kidding, honey) and know that they are safe and fed and there are no hungry mobs out in the streets.  I want civilization to last for my kids and their kids.  We absolutely, positively need to make informed, intelligent decisions on energy today, and it is possible to solve our problems without desperate drilling, nukes, and (no, there is no such thing as clean) coal.  THIS ELECTION DOES MATTER, FELLAS, MUCH MORE THAN ANY ELECTION SINCE 1860 (yes, more than 1980 and more than 1932).  Unless you vote for Barack Obama, I can assure you, you are taking chances with our American way of life.

REGISTER, THEN VOTE FOR BARACK OBAMA ON TUESDAY, NOVEMBER 4

Vote for Barack Obama

    Jesus.
    I was right.
    Obama voters ARE children.
Not just children, but dumb children.
Whatever you say about CNBC can’t mean much, if your analysis is as stupid as your reasons for voting for Obambi.

Which words don’t you understand? I would actually welcome a fact-based rebuttal, but you immediately resort to ad hominem…
